We want your chocolates to arrive in perfect condition. During warmer months, we monitor the weather in your area and pack shipments with insulation and cooling gel packs. If temperatures are exceptionally high, we may delay shipping to ensure quality. We recommend you anticipate the arrival of your order and plan accordingly so that your package does not sit in direct sun during warm weather. If your order arrives melted, we’ll gladly replace it with the same or a similar item. For refund requests, please contact us at hello@moirecacao.com.
Return and Refund Policy
We take great care in crafting our chocolates and we aim to make it right if your order doesn’t meet expectations. If your shipment arrives damaged or in poor condition, please reach out to us right away via email hello@moirecacao.com. We’re happy to assist you.
Returns
As all of our chocolates are made in small-batches, we cannot accept returns on them due to their perishable nature. However, if you’re unsatisfied with your order, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to help.
Refunds
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and can be issued as a digital gift card, or refunded to your original payment method. Refunds to credit cards or bank accounts typically take 7–10 business days to process.
Replacements and Exchanges
We are unable to offer exchanges on perishable food items. However, if your order arrives melted, we’ll gladly send a replacement. Because our products are made in limited batches, availability may vary, and we’ll notify you if any delays occur.
Shipments Returned Due to Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address, including apartment or suite numbers. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the following applies:
- Re-shipment Fee: A $15 charge applies to resend the package to the correct address.
- Lost Packages: We are not responsible for lost shipments due to incorrect addresses.

Late or Missing Refunds
We process refunds promptly. Virtual gift cards are typically issued immediately, while bank or credit card refunds take 7–10 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution.
